Welcome to Cheshire Bonsai Society
A little bit about us
We are a friendly Bonsai Society in Cheshire, full of people interested in bonsai who come together to share their knowledge and expertise.
We have about 40 members - a complete mixture of ages - and they range from beginners (who struggle to keep their trees alive at times) right through to experienced growers (who have created some astonishing trees). But please don't be intimidated, everyone is very friendly and helpful, and you will learn an incredible amount from our members.
We meet on the 3rd Monday of the month (except December) at the Village Hall in Little Budworth near Tarporley. Meetings start at 7:30pm and usually finish around 10pm. We have a variety of meetings planned throughout the year with guest speakers, workshops and opportunities to buy Bonsai and accessories. Please visit the meetings page for our programme and a map & directions.
Visitors are always welcome to come along to any of our meetings, or if you would like to get in touch with someone first, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit our Facebook page.
We are very sorry but we can only answer questions directly regarding the Society. If you would like help with your bonsai, please come along to our meetings.
At the meetings we have demonstrations on various bonsai techniques, we hold workshops where you can work on your trees with on-hand advice, plus you can buy trees, wire, tools, pots and soil, which will all assist you with your hobby. In addition to this we have other events throughout the year, please see our programme for full details.
